Dajo Brinkman is born and raised in the south of the Netherlands.
In 2008, Dajo graduated successfully in photojournalism, at the Fotovakschool in Apeldoorn. Despite the focus on film today, 'social documentary photography' (or 'concerned photography') is still very close to his heart.
He extended his photographic education in New York, at the International Center of Photography. Where he focused further on documentary photography and multimedia storytelling.
In 2010 Dajo made the step from photography into film, with a strong passion for 3D stereo, 360 videos, VR glasses & Google cardboard!
With his thesis topic "The correlation between convergence and focus point, towards television screen size and viewing distance of 3D stereo content" he successfully graduated Bachelor of Science (with honours) in digital filmmaking. Accreditation provided by Middlesex University London.
Currently, the focus lays not only on 360/3D filming but also on exploring the combination of laser scanning and photogrammetry for room scale VR applications.
